Golfers span four generations

Four generations of the Paul Clemens family participated in Spruce Lake’s 40th annual Wilderness Camp Benefit Golf Tournament Monday, June 8, 2015.

Paul Clemens has served 12 years on Spruce Lake’s board of directors, 1983 – 1995. He and his wife, Kathryn, along with their extended family, have been faithful supporters of Spruce Lake for many years — while maintaining a lively interest in the sport of golf!

In the photo, left to right, are Randy Clemens (Paul’s son), Paul Clemens and Bradley Landis (Paul’s grandson). In the front is Adam Landis, age 10, who is Paul’s great-grandson.

The annual benefit tournament is held at Indian Valley Country Club, Telford, PA. This year, 173 golfers made another big impact on campers’ lives, raising generous funds through player fees, a lively post-dinner auction, campership donations and more. Such an active response ensures that all children can attend summer camp, regardless of their family’s financial needs.
